Earthquake Hits East Coast Felt as Far North as Burlington VT and as far South as North Carolina. Magnitude 5.9 – VIRGINIA
One day after the largest earthquake Colorado has seen in more than a century, the East Coast just got a big one as well. Virginia just got a 5.9 Magnitude quake and I just felt it in Burlington VT!! All of a sudden, the building began to sway, and the other people in the building, (which is the Office of United States Senator Patrick Leahy) began to evacuate. The swaying stopped and everyone went back inside. It appears for a 5.9 Magnitude Quake, there isn’t much damage being reported.
