Before Occupy New Hampshire completely hijacked the narrative, Romney would have been the nominee easily. Now Newt Gingrich is the front runner. (A guy so despised by even his own party due to his complete lack of morality, and leadership,)
All of that money was spent on the Romney campaign, and it was completely countered by 100 people in New Hampshire getting together to make a statement. Sure, we had a little help from our friends. Occupiers from across the country, including Wall St, Albany, Maine, Vermont, Worcester, Providence, Boston, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Los Angeles, (forgive me if I forgot anybody) started showing up and were ready for some direct action, and non-occupiers were more than generous in lending us their equipment, and volunteering for shifts whenever they could. But this never would have started had not a very small group of people in a very small state had a very big idea. I am proud to have been one of the planners, as well as a facilitator, media technician, logistics, information, press relations, presidential candidate relations, sign making, flyer printing, outreach, pride march coordinator and director, live streamer, social media coordinator, and all the other hats I wore during this event to help make our dream a reality. This was a lot of hard work to make this event happen, and it was very stressful at times, but I look back at what I helped create, of how I helped shape the conversation in this country and never have I been so proud of anything I have ever done. I hope to continue enacting more positive change in peoples lives across this entire planet. Maybe there is a big reason to hope. And maybe we don’t need leaders to show us the way. We all possess the incredible capacity for good, (as well as evil) but I think I’m finally on the right path. I think I can envision a better future for all humanity, and I think we are starting it right here, and right now. The future is in all of us. You just need to realize that you are the hope. You are the change. You are the world that you create. We are the future. We are filled with the love and the light that guides us towards peace, and prosperity for everyone. That drive that overcomes the cynicism and realizes that we choose the life we live. We choose to work hard, and be fair, and to be kind, and to love openly and often. We choose a better world.

We are unstoppable.
Another world is possible.
